ALLIUM SATIVUM

Allium Sativum considers classification systems, including Linnaean taxonomy and scientific classification methods in general. This work considers humanity’s innate desire to organize and define living things. The installation includes thousands of garlic skins adhered to a wall with insect pins. Movies of dragonflies, one of the fastest insects in the world, is projected on the pinned garlic skins.
